01 — The Brief
An atrium designed to be walked, not just photographed.
Anantara Hotels & Resorts commissioned an editorial series exploring the guest journey through the mashrabiya-lit atrium — a study in filtered daylight, quiet figures, and the architectural rhythm of the space across a full day.
Working Around Guests
The atrium stayed open throughout. Every frame had to be built between arrivals and departures, with no ability to close the space or reset the traffic flow.
Filtered Light
Mashrabiya screens move the light across the floor by the minute. Each composition had a short window before the shadow pattern that made it work had shifted off the frame.
Figure Direction
Figures needed to read as guests rather than models — held long enough to stay sharp in low interior light, loose enough to keep the scene believable.

02 — The Result
A story built for print and digital.
A curated edit was delivered for regional campaign use — pacing the guest journey through light, texture and figure, and joining an ongoing body of hospitality work across the UAE.
